General Conditions of Sale Cruiser World

These general conditions of sale concern all purchases at Cruiser World, registered at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 51769638. Please read these conditions thoroughly before placing an order. To deviate from these conditions is only possible after having come to an agreement with Cruiser World in writing.

1. Website

Prices on our website always exclude VAT (Value Added Tax). Prices may at all times be changed by Cruiser World. Prices are valid for stocked items. Photos are exemplifying; no rights can be drawn from photos.

2. Ordering

Ordering can be done at our counter, via telephone, via e-mail, via our webshop or via our Whatsapp (+31 (0)6 10428835) An order is definite once it has been confirmed in writing; this can be an invoice too. Orders can be cancelled if they have not been shipped yet. Possible shipping costs already made will not be reimbursed. Delivery times mentioned by Cruiser World of non-stock parts is always indicative; no rights can be drawn from these. Used / second hand & New Old Stock parts can at all times be viewed and inspected at our shop. Cruiser World can supply the service of taking and sending photos of the enquired parts. No right scan be drawn from these photos. Photos never represent reality nor interpretation of reality.

3. Payment

Payment can be done via bank transfer, via PayPal ( or via our webshop. PayPal payment have a 5% surcharge, since PayPal absorbs 5% of the total amount.

4. Shipping

Parts are being packed with the greatest possible care. Cruiser World makes use (90%) of already used wrapping and filling materials. By doing this we spare the environment and we keep costs as low as possible, for both customer and Cruiser World. As a consequence our parcel-packaging does not look new, and it can bear names of other companies. Another consequence is that parts with irregular shapes and / or sizes could have to wait for useable materials to arrive. Cruiser World choses its couriers with utmost care. The best combination of speed, costs, carefulness and warranty-regulations is being made. The cost aspect is not determining the final choice. Shipping parcels is being done in chronological order of arrival of payments. After having handed over a parcel to our courier the delivery time is out of our hands. Delivery times given by Cruiser World are always indicative. Possible longer delivery time can never result is rights, like for example cancellation of the order. Cruiser World will always send -or have send- an email with a tracking link, unless shipping per envelope. Customer is required to notify Cruiser World of not having the received the parcel / pallet within 2 weeks after it was sent off.

5. Arrival of the parcel / pallet

When a parcel is offered to a customer showing damages one has the right to refuse the parcel. In this case the courier must take the parcel back. Damage, incompleteness or other iniquities need to be reported to Cruiser World within 5 days after delivery. After that period of time no claim can be made anymore. Reporting damage, incompleteness or other iniquities need to be accompanied by clear photos, on which our packaging needs to be clearly visible.

6. Return shipments

Private customers have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days after having received it. Orders can be returned, but all devaluation of the item and its factory packaging caused by non-logical handling will cause a lower reimbursement. Item must be return-sent within 14 days after having notified Cruiser World of cancellation. Business customers can return parts within 10 days after delivery if they are unharmed and packed in their original packaging. Returns will only be accepted when unequivocally justified. These can be subject to up to 10% penalty based on the price of the parts. Shipping costs will -in this case- not be restituted. Wrongly supplied parts can always be returned to Cruiser World, in which case shipping costs will be restituted too. Cruiser World does not need to take this responsibility when customer has not given the correct -or incomplete- information of the car the parts were meant for. (Correct) Parts especially ordered on request are non-returnable. Electrical parts are never returnable. Used / secondhand parts are never returnable. Customers may always view and inspect these parts in our shop prior to ordering.

7. Warranty

Only new parts have warranty on them, for the period of 1 year after delivery IF customer can plausibly argue that the particular part has been mounted correctly, and -if needed- has been serviced with the correct time intervals, and with the correct materials. Used / second hand and electrical parts never have warranty on them.

8. Reimbursement

Reimbursement / restitution will take place within a week after the particular part has arrived safely at Cruiser World’s. This time span will be longer when Cruiser World administrator is on leave or public holidays take place.

9. Private and personal details

10. Lodge a complaint

If you have a complaint regarding one of our parts you can always contact us. Dutch law applies to all orders and agreements. The Vienna Sales Convention is excluded. The Dutch court has exclusive jurisdiction to hear disputes.
